Background
JustLend DAO remains committed to prudent market management and the long-term sustainability of the protocol. As part of this commitment, supported markets are periodically reviewed and adjusted when appropriate.
This proposal initiates the orderly offboarding of the ETHB market. The offboarding process is planned to proceed in two stages, as outlined below.
Offboarding Process
Stage 1: Disable Supply and Borrow Functions
Once this update is executed, the Supply and Borrow functions for the ETHB market will be disabled. Users will no longer be able to open new supply or borrow positions involving ETHB. Existing positions will remain supported and may continue to be managed as usual.
Stage 2: Subsequent Parameter Adjustments
Subject to governance, new proposals are expected to be introduced around late June to adjust the ETHB market’s Collateral Factor (CF), Reserve Factor (RF), and other relevant parameters. Further details will be communicated through subsequent announcements.
User Guidance During the Transition
To facilitate an orderly transition, users are encouraged to take note of the following:
-
Users supplying ETHB: Please consider withdrawing and closing your ETHB supply positions before the market is fully offboarded.
-
Users borrowing ETHB: Please consider repaying your outstanding ETHB loans and closing your borrow positions during the transition period.
-
Actively monitor and manage positions in the SBM-ETHB market to maintain a healthy account status throughout the offboarding process.
Community members are welcome to share feedback and comments regarding the proposed ETHB offboarding process.
Thank you for your support!
