[Proposal] Orderly Offboard the USD1 Market

Background

JustLend DAO remains committed to prudent market management and the long-term sustainability of the protocol. As part of this commitment, supported markets are periodically reviewed and adjusted when appropriate.

This proposal initiates the orderly offboarding of the USD1 market. The offboarding process is planned to proceed in two stages, as outlined below.

Offboarding Process

Stage 1: Disable Supply and Borrow Functions

Once this update is executed, the Supply and Borrow functions for the USD1 market will be disabled. Users will no longer be able to open new supply or borrow positions involving USD1. Existing positions will remain supported and may continue to be managed as usual.

Stage 2: Subsequent Parameter Adjustments

The parameter adjustment will affect the Collateral Factor (CF), Reserve Factor (RF), and other related parameters for the USD1 market. Further details will be released through subsequent announcements.

User Guidance During the Transition

To facilitate an orderly transition, users are encouraged to take note of the following:

  • Users supplying USD1: Please consider withdrawing and closing your USD1 supply positions before the market is fully offboarded.

  • Users borrowing USD1: Please consider repaying your outstanding USD1 loans and closing your borrow positions during the transition period.

  • Actively monitor and manage positions in the SBM-USD1 market to maintain a healthy account status throughout the offboarding process.

Community members are welcome to share feedback and comments regarding the proposed USD1 offboarding process.

Thank you for your support!

JustLend DAO Team

One thing I’d like to see clearly communicated is the timeline between disabling Supply & Borrow and the Stage 2 parameter changes. Since existing positions remain manageable during the transition, giving users clear milestones and advance notice of each parameter change would make the offboarding process much easier to navigate.
